The Loan Fund's board and staff believe in making Florida a better place to live and work. Together we combine experience in lending with a special understanding of the challenges faced by non-profit community groups and leaders working to revitalize low-income come communities.
Our staff is available to meet with community groups and can provide technical assistance in project design and feasibility, financial managment, loan packaging, general fundraising and capital recruitment. In addition to our main office in Orlando, Loan Fund staff are also accessible at three additional regional offices located in Tampa, Jacksonville and Sarasota.
The Loan Fund is governed by a diverse and highly qualified statewide board of directors that includes community representatives, investors and technical experts.
The Board's duties include: refining lending policies; monitoring loan and investment portfolios; monitoring capitalization goals; enhancing operating policies and procedures; developing local leadership and support; reviewing and approving operating budgets; marketing and promoting the Loan Fund; reviewing loan applications; and maintaining the institution's strategic vision throughout its future.
