The Loan Fund provides free technical assistance (TA) to its borrowers directly and through the Florida Community Development Initiative-an innovative partnership with the Florida Housing Coalition. Borrowers with access to the Loan Fund's TA can improve their projects, reduce their costs, increase their productivity, and strengthen their organization's development capacity. In addition, of course, they become stronger and more capable borrowers.
By providing TA services to borrowers, the Loan Fund helps to build Florida's nonprofit sector and ensure the long-term effectiveness of the projects it finances. Types of TA include help with project design and development, budgeting, financial management systems, project management, board development, needs assessment, and evaluation. TA services are provided as an integral part of each Loan Fund application process and can include the assignment of a specific TA consultant to work with your organization.
