Equity Equivalent Investments (EQ2)

EQ2's are a unique form of investment used by federally regulated financial institutions both from within and outside of Florida to support the long-term capital accumulation of the Loan Fund.

This long-term, debt instrument functions much like an equity investment, carrying a minimum 10-year rolling term of maturity and a deeply subordinated position within the Loan Fund's capital pool.

Financial institutions interested in exploring this type of investment in the Loan Fund should contact the Loan Fund's Development Officer. The Loan Fund presently holds three EQ2's, randing from $400,000-$750,000 in size at 2%.
