The Florida Community Loan Fund provides affordable housing loans to nonprofit organizations engaged in affordable housing activities that service the needs of low-income communities.
Non-profits that serve the special needs clients with supportive housing environments that provide specialized social services can also access funding for their projects.
Housing loan opportunities include:
- Acquisition and site control loans
- Loans for construction lines of credit for affordable rental housing or for affordable single family homeownership
- Loans for acquisition and rehabilitation of single family or multi-family housing including expiring - use Section 8 properties
- Loans to acquire and rehabilitate properties to provide supportive housing for the homeless
- Loans for special needs or affordable elderly housing

Minimum Social Impact Measure:
Housing units created or improved must be for households with incomes below 80% of the county or MSA median income. Tangible proof of enhanced impact provided by social services may be required.
